 Horse and Rider Evaluation 

 

I assess the horse's conformation and muscle development to formulate a plan of action to improve the horse's self-carriage. 

  • This assessment takes approxiamately sixty minutes.

  • The way the horse has muscled up and any conformation issues that could lead to unsoundness in later life are discussed.

  • Any tack issues or changes are discussed. 

  • The rider receives an e-mail evaluation

  • Follow-up phone call to answer any further questions

 


DVD Evaluation

The video/DVD is an excellent method of getting an outside evaluation of your horse's way of going or monitoring your training.  When you film your Video or DVD please show your ride from the start.

  • Make two copies of your Video or DVD

  • Send one to me.

  • Receive an e-mail evaluation

  • Follow-up telephone call to review your Video or DVD


 

Teaching Video Evaluation

 

In every business people are evaluated to help them improve their performance.  This is an opportunity to get professional

Send a DVD or video of your teaching any client and improve your instructional skills in a personal private one-on-one basis.

Photo Evaluation

Send me three or four digital photo and to get an evaluation on your horse's way of going and advice on how to continue your training program.

Three-Day Clinic

The three-day clinic gives riders the best training opportunity. As riders work with and discuss training issues over three days of lectures, demonstrations and lessons.  The first day of any clinic is an evaluation.  Day two is when  specific exercises are developed to improve the horse.  Day three reviews any problems or questions.  Riders and horses have enough to work on after the three days. 

  • An e-mail evaluation of the work covered is available  

  • Reports are followed up with a personal phone call

  • Email questions free-of-charge


One-Day Advanced Workshop

 In the one-day workshop riders ride twice. A portion of the morning and afternoon ride is videoed or photographed. Morning DVDs or photographed are evaluated over lunch.  

Workshops are private intensive training and are limited to four riders with no auditors. 

  • All riders are offered an e-mail evaluation 

  •  Follow-up phone call 


                     Demonstrations

 

1.  Half-day lungeing for longevity demonstration.  Lungeing is an important part of any horse's fitness and training program. 

  • Learn how to be more effect when you lunge
  • Develop your eye for your horse's way of going 

 

2.  Half-day demonstration on riding school movements to improve your horse's way of going and increase your marks in a dressage test.

  • Study the math of school movments
  • Learn how to improve your horse's way of going
