Clinics -Workshops - Expos
| A clinic can be a great experience for you and your horse as you learn how to function together. Whether you are working with horses for the first time or have years of experience, a clinic can take your skills to the next level. A written evaluation is available upon request after clinics and workshops. Written evaluations are followed up with a personal phone call to discuss any further questions of training issues. Photography and video services can be arranged. Email questions are open to all participants and are free-of-charge. |
| | Three-Day Clinic
| | | The three-day clinic give riders an opportunity for some concentrated training. Clinics are theme based. Riders work with their horse on the ground and in the saddle, discussing training issues with lectures, demonstrations and lessons. Four and five day clinics can be arranged if requested.
Day One - The first day of your clinic highlights how your horse is going and what tools or exercises are needed to continue improve your horse's balance and confidence. Day Two - Concentrates on the developing specific exercises and the subtelty of your 'feel'. Day Three - Confirms your feel and how you would deal with any problems that may occur.
| | | One-Day Advanced Workshop
| | | In the one-day workshop riders ride twice. A portion of the morning and afternoon ride is video taped or photographed. Morning DVDs or photographs are evaluated over lunch.
Workshops are private intensive training and are limited to four riders with no auditors. | | | Demonstrations
| | | 1. Half-day lungeing for longevity demonstration. Lungeing is an important part of any horse's fitness and training program.
Learn how to be more effect when you lunge Develop your eye for your horse's way of going
2. Half-day demonstration on riding school movements to improve your horse's way of going and increase your marks in a dressage test.
Study the math of school movments. Learn how to improve your horse's way of going.

| | | References available upon request. Jane is available as a clinician at expos throughout the country. Lecture/Demonstration topics cover a wide range of subject material.
Sample Demonstration Topics Include: Flat work that's not flat. Successful schooling using simple movements. Confidence and suppleness in the jumping horse.
Sample Lectures Topics Include: The emotional value of riding. Making the most of your clinic ride. How to improve your dressage mark.

Written Evaluations
| Written evaluations can be used to enhance the training program for your horse, your riding or your teaching skills. Evaluations are followed up with a telephone call to discuss your evaluation and my recommendations.

| | Equine Evaluations
| | | Evaluation of your horse's conformation and action to highlight likely lameness issues as he ages. In conjunction with the owner's goals, the horse's condition and muscle development a customized program is designed.
| | | Video Evaluations
| | | Submitted Video by Postal Mail The video/DVD is an excellent method of getting an outside evaluation or second opinion of your horse's way of going, monitoring your training or developing your teaching skills. Tape your whole ride or lesson from the start on VHS tape, VCD, AVI, WMV, MPEG or DVD. Make an extra copy of the video before sending one to us. Send one to us. You will then have the opportunity to review your ride/lesson during the verbal part of your evaluation.
| | | Photo Assessment
| | | Submitt Photos by Postal Mail or E-Mail Send three or four digital photos. Recieve an assessment of your horse's way of going Get advice on how to continue your training program.
